Samuel Omorodion has become the property of Porto after the Portuguese giants paid another €12m to buy the remaining rights from Atletico Madrid.

Portuguese side FC Porto have agreed to pay a further €12 million to acquire 100 percent of the rights to 21-year-old Spanish striker Samuel Omorodian.

FC Porto have completed a deal to acquire full ownership of 21-year-old Spanish striker Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid.

Porto have reportedly exercised their option to buy the remainder of Samu’s deal after paying a further €12m to take full ownership of the 21-year-old, valuing him at €27m – making a €21m profit for Atletico Madrid after paying just €6m to bring him in from Granada in the summer of 2023. 

Omorodion, who scored 27 goals and provided three assists in 45 matches during the 2024/25 season, is contracted until 2029 with a €100 million release clause.

Despite interest from Aston Villa and PSG, Porto plan to keep their star forward.
